Hung Yen University of Technology and Education (UTEHY) is headquartered in Dan Tien Commune, Khoai Chau District, Hung Yen Province, was established in 1966, formerly known as Hung Yen Industry College under the Ministry of Heavy Industry. After nearly 50 years of development and growth, the University has made great progress in both scale and quality. From the early days of its establishment, the main task is to train technicians (1966). In 1979, the university was upgraded to the College of Technical Education 1 under the Ministry of Education and Training. In 2003, the Prime Minister signed a decision establishing the Hung Yen University of Technology and Education, marking a new development breakthrough with the university. After years of struggle and efforts, the University has grown to become a multidisciplinary University, key areas of the Red River delta, career-oriented training with high-quality applications to meet growing demand social diversity of the workforce.
Especially from 2011 to date, the Ministry of Education and Training allowed UTEHY to start with 5 specialized Master: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Vehicle Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. This is an important development step further lifting height and position of the university in the block of University, College of the country.
University has three campus: Campus 1: 12.2 ha, located in the Dan Tien Commune, Khoai Chau District, Hung Yen Province. Campus 2: 25.4 ha, located in Nhan Hoa commune, My Hao district, Hung Yen province. Campus 3: 3375 m2, is located at 198 Nguyen Luong Bang Street, Tan Binh, Ho. Hai Duong.
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is one of the biggest faculty of the Hung Yen University of Technology and Education, with more than 50 years of training the college level, the University and the Graduate School. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has trained thousands of Engineer, Master for the Red River Delta and the whole country.
The mission of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering are taking training, doing scientific research in order to contribute to the economic development of the Northern Delta region and the country. At the same time, change their thinking, enhance professional skills, professional practice skills of students through the process of teaching, scientific research and technology transfer. With this mission, our target is to become the Faculty of address training of highly qualified human resources in the region, a center of scientific research and technology transfer leading. We has 56 faculty members with 2 Prof, 7 Assoc.Prof and 6 Doctor.
Mechatronics is one of the most attractive research areas when we are moving to the stage of industry 4.0. Nowadays, automation systems and robots play a central role in industry. In mechatronics laboratory, we equipped many research facilities such as 6 DOF industrial robot, CNC machine, ControlDesk software and DSPACE system, PLC with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, Microcontroller and microprocessor systems, PC/104, etc. We also carried out many research projects as following:
