Project title: Education fit for the future: development of a university-industry-government model to deliver industrial placements in international and transnational education (a project funded by British Council via UK VIETNAM HIGHER EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP (UK-VN HEP))
Lead organisations: University of Portsmouth and National Center for Technological Progress (NACENTECH)
Coordinators: Professor Raymond Lee, University of Portsmouth, UK and Assoc. Prof. Mai Anh Tuan, NACENTECH, MOST, Vietnam
Topics: (1) international higher education, transnational education (TNE), (2) sustainable university-industry-government partnership, (3) global employability, (4) health technology
It is hoped that this project will promote a “step change” in the quality of international industrial placement as well as placement programs in TNE, which will prepare the students as global citizens with skills which are “fit for the future.” Such a step change will be supported by “specific, measurable and realistic” outcomes of this project.
