Held in Hanoi by The Ministry of Science and Technology and The British Embassy Hanoi, the Newton Day Vietnam 2017 attracted more than 100 participants including the scientists and researchers who have been funded by the Newton Fund. During the meeting, the experience and lessons learnt in fundamental research, innovation technology and state-level case study were shared for higher quality proposals.

Numbers of posters were presented during the meeting so that the official of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the British UK Hanoi as well as the participants can have an overview of the contribution of the researchers and scientists through the support of the Newton Fund.
